Forming the second most cause of salivary obstruction after stones, stenosis was usually untreatable before the advent of the Sialendoscope. Endoscopic dilatation and stenting form the cornerstone for treatment. We specialise in this treatment by dilating the duct so that saliva doesn’t get blocked within duct. This is a simple repeatable procedure for rapid symptom relief with no major complications.
Laser Salivary Duct Stone Treatment
Dr. Varun Rai specialises in the field of LASER sialolithotripsy. This is novel technique in which difficult stones are broken down into small fragments using laser which then allow the stone particles to pass from the duct leading to a fast and quick recovery.
